Our raison d'être

Our professional association is theumbrella organization that federates and responds to the specific needs of independent consultants working in Switzerland.

Its main objective is to provide a unified platform through which to
independents can not only gain in visibility but also improve their ability to influence the economic and practical players who guarantee the profession’s growth. There are several key aspects to this mission.

Representation and influence

By bringing independent consultants together, the SFIC embodies a strong collective voice capable of advocating the professional and business interests of its members to decision-makers and other key stakeholders. This representation also aims to ensure that practices and regulations are developed and encouraged in such a way as to support and not hinder the work of independent consultants.

Quality assurance and trust

By joining the SFIC, independent consultants commit to a quality charter that certifies their reliability and professionalism. This charter reassures corporate clients of the quality of the services offered by SFIC members, thus facilitating the conclusion of business contracts.

Networking and mutual support

The SFIC offers a support network where members can share advice, resources and facilitators in the profession. This network is vital for freelancers, who can often feel isolated in their work. Through networking events, workshops and face-to-face and online forums, members can meet, exchange ideas and collaborate on projects.

Professional development

The SFIC is committed to supporting the professional development of its members through its own training and certification programs, with regular updates on trends and innovations impacting the profession.
We enable consultants to remain competitive and relevant in an ever-changing market.

There’s a world between salaried workers and employers, where individuals can launch their own business on their own account, i.e. solo taker or solo business.
